Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the VerifiedStays website and AI travel assistant (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use VerifiedStays. The Service is operated under the VerifiedStays name.

1. What VerifiedStays Does

VerifiedStays helps you discover hotels and other places to stay. You can describe a trip in ordinary language, and we use that request to show travel options, prices, availability, ratings, and links to booking websites. The Service is a research and comparison tool; it is not a travel agency, hotel operator, or booking service.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use VerifiedStays only for a lawful purpose and in accordance with these Terms. You must not interfere with the Service, probe or bypass its security, scrape or harvest data by automated means, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, or use the Service to violate anyone else's rights. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or our partners.

3. Search Results, Prices, and Availability

Travel information changes quickly. Prices, taxes, fees, room details, availability, ratings, photos, and other listing information may be incomplete, delayed, or different when you reach a booking website. Currency conversions and nightly estimates may not include every charge. Always review the complete price, cancellation rules, dates, occupancy, and other conditions on the booking website before you pay. A display on VerifiedStays is not a quote, reservation, or guarantee of availability.

4. Third-Party Booking Websites

VerifiedStays does not take your reservation, collect payment for a stay, or control the booking websites linked from the Service. When you follow a link, you leave VerifiedStays and deal directly with the relevant hotel or booking provider. That provider's terms, privacy policy, cancellation rules, fees, and customer support process apply to your booking. We are not a party to that transaction and are not responsible for a provider's content, conduct, service, or failure to honor a reservation.

5. Affiliate Links and Our Independence

Some links on VerifiedStays are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a qualifying booking, the booking provider or affiliate network may pay VerifiedStays a commission. You do not pay more because of an affiliate link. Commissions help support the Service and do not create a contract between you and VerifiedStays. Our affiliate relationships do not change the price or booking terms presented by the provider.

6. AI-Generated Recommendations

Parts of the Service use automated systems and artificial intelligence to understand your request and write travel summaries. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Treat it as a starting point, verify important details yourself, and do not rely on it for safety, accessibility, medical, legal, immigration, or other professional advice. We do not promise that a recommendation is the best option for you or that it will remain available.

7. Intellectual Property

The VerifiedStays name, branding, software, design, and original content are owned by VerifiedStays or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written permission. Hotel and booking information may belong to the providers that supply it.

8. Your Search Requests

You retain any rights you have in the information you submit, such as your destination, dates, and preferences. You give VerifiedStays the permission needed to process, store, transmit, and display that information to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, current, or error-free, or that it will meet your expectations. We disclaim warranties that the law allows us to disclaim, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifiedStays and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or travel opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service or a third-party booking. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid VerifiedStays for the Service in the preceding twelve months or 100 US dollars. This limit does not apply where the law does not permit it.

11. Changes and Termination

We may change the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will post revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes apply when posted unless we state otherwise. If you continue using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using VerifiedStays at any time, and we may discontinue or restrict the Service without advance notice where permitted by law.
